Restaurant marketing agency in Los Angeles

Restaurant marketing that fills tables, not just feeds.

A restaurant does not get a second first impression. The name, the box the burger comes in, the reel someone watches at 11pm, the page they land on when they search for you: all of it decides whether they come in. Davel builds every one of those pieces for restaurants, food brands and hospitality businesses, from Glendale to Miami.

People decide where to eat with their eyes, long before they taste anything.
Which means the brand, the packaging, the photos and the videos are doing your selling every single day. If they look like everyone else on the street, you are competing on discounts. If they look like somewhere people want to be seen, you are not.

A few honest questions for restaurant owners.

  1. When someone scrolls past your restaurant on Instagram, what makes them stop? If the honest answer is a discount, the brand is not doing its job.
  2. How much of your revenue depends on the same regulars, because new people are not finding you, or not choosing you?
  3. What did the last slow month cost you in payroll and food that went to waste, and what would it be worth to fill those tables?
  4. And if the next twelve months look exactly like the last twelve, is that acceptable?
We build the brand, the content and the campaigns that answer those questions.

Restaurant content, in motion. Press play.

Case in point

Front Yard Burger: a Glendale burger brand built from the name up.

Front Yard Burger came to us before it had a name. We named it, designed the identity and the packaging, and gave a Glendale burger joint a personality that felt bold, fresh and lively from day one.

Then we kept it fed. A retro Nostalgia campaign that flashed back to the 90s, a Spooky Burger Bash for Halloween, and Burgerlicious Delights aimed at busy professionals looking for lunch. One brand, three campaigns, one consistent voice.

Pizza Gio: Branding & Visual Identity

Everything a restaurant needs to be chosen.

Most restaurants buy marketing in pieces from five different people. We build the whole thing under one roof, so the packaging matches the reels and the reels match the ads:

  • Naming, branding and packaging. The identity on the sign, the box, the cup and the uniforms, built to be photographed.
  • Social media content.Reels shot in your venue, on a schedule, with the food and the people looking the way they taste.
  • Seasonal campaigns.Halloween, lunch specials, Taco Tuesday, a new menu: creative that gives people a reason to come in this week.
  • Social media and Google ads.Local targeting that puts the restaurant in front of people within driving distance, at the hour they are deciding.
  • Websites that take bookings.Fast, mobile-first sites with the menu, reservations and ordering where people expect them.
  • Event marketing. For hospitality businesses that host: ticket sales, guest follow-up and the sequence that fills the room.
The difference is consistency.
One brand, everywhere your guest looks.

Picture your restaurant with the marketing right.

A new couple in the neighbourhood searches for dinner, finds you, and the site makes it easy to book. A reel from last Friday is doing the rounds and people are tagging friends in it. The Halloween campaign sold out the weekend before anyone else had put up decorations.
Your regulars are still coming. They are just no longer the whole business.

How we work with restaurants.

The order matters. We never shoot content for a brand that has not been defined, and we never run ads to a page that cannot convert.

01

Taste the brand first.

We visit, we eat, we talk to the people behind the counter. We define what the place stands for and what it should look like on a box, a wall and a phone screen.

02

Build the assets.

Identity, packaging, menu design, photography and the first batch of reels, all from the same brief, so nothing looks borrowed.

03

Give people a reason.

Seasonal and menu campaigns on a calendar, each with its own creative, so the feed always has something worth sharing.

04

Put it in front of the neighbourhood.

Local social and Google campaigns, watched and adjusted weekly, so the money goes to the people most likely to walk in.

We know what a restaurant can spend, and what it cannot.

Davel is a Los Angeles creative agency working since 2017, with more than 500 projects delivered and a 5.0 rating on Clutch. Our restaurant work runs from naming a burger joint in Glendale to branding a pizzeria in Miami and a pastry shop in Thessaloniki, plus the websites, reels and campaigns that keep them busy.
Our executive creative director judges the Webby, Drum and Digiday Awards. The same standard applies to a lunch special banner as to a national campaign.

Questions people ask

Do you work with single-location restaurants?
Yes. Most of our restaurant clients are independent, one or two locations, owner-operated. We scope the work to what a single location can realistically spend and still see a return.
We already have a logo and a menu. Where do you start?
With whatever is holding you back. Some restaurants need the brand fixed before anything else makes sense. Some have a great brand and no content. We tell you honestly which one you are on the first call.
Can you shoot the food and the venue?
Yes. Our content team shoots reels and photography on site, on a schedule, so the feed never goes quiet. You can watch restaurant reels on our social media content page.
Do you run the ads too?
Yes. Local social media and Google campaigns, watched and adjusted weekly. The creative comes from the same team that built your brand, so nothing has to be explained twice.
What does it cost?
Less than a slow month. Real numbers come after we see the venue and the goals, which takes one call.
Like what you see?

Would it be worth one call to find out what is keeping people from choosing your restaurant?

Pick a time that suits you. One call, no slides, no pitch: you leave knowing what would fill more tables and what it would take.

Prefer to write first? Leave your details on the contact form and we will call you.
