Our Story: Born in Armenia, Built for the World
Davel Creative Agency was co-founded by Davit Gasparyan and Elen Gasparyan in 2017. What began as a highly specialized multidisciplinary creative firm in Armenia quickly established itself as a driving force in the modern communications sector. We didn’t just participate in the local market; we helped define it.
Within our first few years, Davel was entrusted with the creative strategy for the nation's heaviest hitters. We architected work for Beeline, Armenia's major telecommunications provider, and became the go-to agency for the highly competitive financial sector, securing major accounts with Evocabank, Converse Bank, and TelCell. Simultaneously, we became one of the leaders in marketing the country's rich heritage, partnering with the government entity Wine Foundation of Armenia and leading creative initiatives for seven distinct wine producers, including the country's premier wine exporter, Vedi Alco, and Dargett Brewery.
Beyond commercial success, we have been deeply involved in the country's digital, civic, and cultural development. We engineered custom Armenian typography—fonts that are now licensed and actively utilized by the global creative platform PicsArt. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Davel rapidly developed and deployed the "Stay Home" mobile app, a critical civic utility used by Armenian citizens nationwide to digitally process mandatory paperwork when leaving their homes. The agency is also known for the “Difference You Must Know” campaign, a public awareness initiative aimed at bringing clarity and context to important regional topics, which was highlighted by staff.am.
Our strategic work also drove historic national initiatives. We spearheaded the creative direction and communication strategy for the "Read and Play in Vaghuhas" campaign—the first fully funded national initiative on the ReArmenia crowdfunding platform. The campaign's profound impact and innovative, participation-driven strategy were so successful that Elen Gasparyan was invited as a featured guest on Armenian Public Television (H1) and Public Radio of Armenia (Im Radio) to discuss our approach with a nationwide audience.
Our local dominance and civic impact were independently recognized by AGBU Magazine, which highlighted Davel as one of the select few agencies actively shaping Armenia’s modern advertising sector. Our operational excellence also made us a reference model for our peers. In 2021, AdConsult—an international management consultancy—selected Davel as a designated benchmark site, bringing global agency founders and senior professionals to our headquarters to study our workflows.

Exceptional creative work transcends language and geography. By 2019, our reputation for original, high-converting digital strategies began driving aggressive cross-border demand.
Corporate leaders and major brands across the region actively sought Davel out. Entering a strong, highly competitive selection process, we won the account for Ural Airlines—the second-largest airline in Russia, generating $1.5 billion in annual revenue. We were consistently tapped for major regional initiatives spanning Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, delivering cross-border projects for entities in Russia, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, and Greece.
We also spearheaded the regional launch of the WAUNT skincare line for Oriflame, a global beauty giant doing almost $1 billion in annual revenue. The campaign was an undeniable triumph. It was discussed on News.am, prompted the multinational brand's other global offices to adapt their creative assets for their own markets, and earned Davel a highly coveted nomination at the Shorty Awards under the regional category.

In 2022, Davel Creative Agency brought its award-winning methodologies to the United States. Bypassing standard industry growing pains, we immediately captured market share from established domestic agencies and executed campaigns and projects for major clients across the nation.

- The East Coast: In New York, we were selected by Community Housing Innovations (CHI)—a massive nonprofit founded in 1991 with a $100M+ operating budget—to elevate their national communications. Down the coast in Florida, we were entrusted to reshape Acute Wound Care’s website and brand identity.
- The South / Texas: We partnered with former NFL star Mark Clayton to architect the breakout brand strategy for his Texas-based tech startup, LIVV Audio, proving our ability to launch innovative consumer products in a crowded market.
- The West Coast & Silicon Valley: In the San Francisco Bay Area, we transformed the brand positioning for Alameda Mortgage Corporation (founded in 1968), operating out of Walnut Creek.
- In Southern California, we oversaw the rebranding and new website for Alain Hirsch Construction, the premier luxury builders responsible for over 45 storefronts on Beverly Hills' iconic Rodeo Drive (including Louis Vuitton and Gucci).
- U.S. Healthcare & Mission-Driven Campaigns: In Los Angeles, we executed the highly visible, emotionally resonant "See Me, Not My Cancer" campaign for Cancer Support Community Los Angeles (CSCLA, est. 1982). This powerful narrative transcended the U.S. market, earning independent editorial features in major international trade publications like the Russian advertising authority AdIndex, a platform reaching hundreds of thousands of industry professionals monthly.
- We also delivered a premium, billboard-led creative direction for Dr. Susan Chobanian, a renowned, board-certified cosmetic surgeon with 35 years in practice who caters to notable public figures and celebrities. And we became her exclusive creative partner since then.

Elen doesn't just execute campaigns; she pioneers the methodologies behind them. She is the architect of the C.O.S.M.O.S. Method, a proprietary six-phase scientific framework designed to evaluate and optimize marketing campaigns. Her development of this methodology and her impact as a visionary creative director were independently featured in the professional tech and marketing trade publication, WebProNews.
