After Impossible Campaign

About the Project

After Impossible is a campaign created by Davel Creative Agency for Sean Swarner and CancerClimber.org. It retells his journey through nine destinations and reframes what ‘surviving cancer’ can mean.

At 13, Sean was given three months to live. After surviving Hodgkin’s lymphoma and Askin’s sarcoma—and losing the use of one lung—he went on to summit Mount Everest and complete the Explorer’s Grand Slam. The campaign translates that journey into nine minimal visuals, each pairing a landscape with an expedition object to carry one line of the story.
